I need your help for a "more democracy" petition

Please proof read and help me to sign this petition for more democracy before I post it to Avaaz!

Politicians all over the world are making decisions that too often goes against the will of the people and plunder the planet. It seems like we do no longer have a "representative" "democracy" but a kind of crazy corporatism.

We now live in the 21st century. Millions of transactions and decisions every day are being taken by people through Internet. Banks, companies and organizations.

We can keep signing petitions every time they make decisions that goes against our will, but do you really believe that that is a modern democracy of the 21st century?

If not, then we must be able to change politicians more often and vote directly when the politicians are not able to represent us. We should be able to put new and better people in charge over different things more directly.

Therefore, if you want more direct power over the politics, I ask you to sign this petition so that people who want to organize a direct democracy for the people, by the people and through the people all over the planet may contact you and that you can put them into power in parliament in hope to create a better, more functional democracy.

By doing this we hope that we will have a better planet and that you won't have to sign petitions protecting the animals and the environment all the time. We hope this will lead to a better focus on removing the bad things once and for all and instead develop the future together with good politicians in power that follow the will of the people or can be replaced quickly by better alternatives.

Yes. kind of a "job application" / "job advertisment", because direct democracy can not happen without some effort by the people employing each other and joining it.

Nej. Jag förstår inte idén.

Att man åtager sig att sätta igång och driva direktdemokrati ifall man skriver på.

Normalt så skriver man på för att visa sitt stöd. Inte för att säga att man tagit på sig en enormt massa jobb.

This is for people who want to contribute, and already do so through many petitions. Maybe a lot of them are fed up with all petitions and want real change?

And who says there will be a lot of work? Aktiv Demokrati offers delegation and recall on demand.

Jag tycker att formuleringen är konstig. Att det framstår som en vanlig petition och sedan mitt i meningen så står det några ord som får det till att det handlar om att man plötsligt åtagit sig att vara aktivt drivande för det. Det är något helt annat.

Jag vill ha bort den delen av texten och bara låta det handla om ett stöd för DD.

But, Jonas, does that not become like being for world peace and then vote for a party that will increace war? A signature in itself does not make a difference, but that you do something with it after it has been made, like Avaaz do.

That is why Avaaz exists. That is why Avaaz has to reach out in every moment, to beg for your signature.

We still all have to reach out in every moment together with Avaaz to save this and to save that from destruction, hoping that they will listen to us and we will have a positive result.

Ask yourself now if you want to be able to replace bad politicians, recalling them, and replacing them with a click of a mouse button, and do you want to be able to vote directly, to make sure the politicians are eager, to fulfill the will of us, the many?

Now is the time, if you want to be able to put new, and better people in charge. Now is the time to sign this petition, that stands before you.

By signing this together we all hope that we will have a better planet and that we won't have to sign so many petitions protecting the animals, the people and the environment all the time. We hope this will lead to a better focus on developing good things together with good politicians, putting all our energy in positive cooperation instead.
